For the last assignment for the semester I decided to revisit one of the projects I did before. I'm doing this because I enjoyed it last time and I noticed there were some nice things around town that I never noticed. This time I took a bunch of pictures of a park near my house that I haven't went to in a long time but I see all the time. I looked for things that I didn't really pay attention to but for the most part I did have seen everything from when I use to play there. There was one thing though that I never paid attention to. I will show the picture in class.

9/22/10 Assignment
I decided not to do the inspiration assignment because what inspires me is always different. What I mean is that one of the main thing that inspires me is courage, but I'm bias on that. When courage inspires me it is when soldiers going into fire fights knowing what could happen, having family they want to go back to and still going through what they signed up for. When people conquer their fear of something like animals, germs, heights, etc. that doesn't inspire me because it doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me, although it's good when people conquer their fears.

Fear
What makes me fearful is drowning and spiders or worse, drowning in a pool of spiders. Fear to me is something that when I think about I dread it to the point I get freaked out. Fear stops you from being rational and making sound decisions. The purpose of fear is to make sure you stay away from something that could potentially hurt you. Fear doesn’t affect my life to much except for the rare case where there is a big spider and I don’t want to get near it. When it comes to drowning I don’t let that fear affect me when it comes to swimming. I can swim the only problem I have is staying under water for more than about 10 seconds.
My experiment was to light my hand on fire using hand sanitizer and a lighter. I did this because it only makes since to be scared of fire or at least be caught on fire. So I did it in class without warning, and it seemed like only one person was really freaked out by it. Everyone one else seemed to think it was cool. I expected some people to think it was cool but I would have figured more people would be freaked out that a person’s hand was on fire. The only thing I can think of to make the experiment work better is to tell someone to put a little bit of hand sanitizer on then I light there hand on fire and they freak out. I would of course have this person picked out with their approval before class.
The experiment I responded most to was the mouse(not sure what the guy’s name was). I responded to it because I hate mice. There rodents and there nasty. Although I did pick it up I still would have preferred if it wasn’t alive. The thing I would take from his experiment is to get people involved.

The Sneaky Alien
Tom is an ordinary man who lives in Nevada. Every day at 7:00am he takes his hyper dog Glen for a walk around the lush green park that is close to his house. As he is walking Glen, he suddenly runs off into the dense vegetated part of the park. Tom goes running after Glen wondering what got into him.
As he is looking for him he stumbles across an incredible UFO. Tom can’t believe what he is seeing and despite all his common sense to just leave he decides to check out what is inside. He creeps inside with caution and discovers his dog sniffing what seems to be a dead green alien. He realizes nothing good could come of this so he puts the leash on Glen and runs out of the UFO. But it is to late the Government has already caught him at the scene. He is now surrounded by what seems to be about 20 men with guns wearing strange uniforms. One of the men shoots him in the chest and passes out. He wakes up in a cell wondering if he is going to die but he doesn’t feel any wounds. He thinks to himself that it must have been a tranquilizer. A man walks up to the cell and asks him what he saw. Tom replies that he saw a dead alien in a UFO. The man replies “Well get comfy because this is your new home”.
Three days later Tom gets a surprise visitor, the big eyed alien he thought was dead. The alien says “You have to help me I just want to go home; if you help me I will help you out of here too”. Tom agrees and the alien throws some guard cloths to him. He puts them on and Tom pretends to take him to an experimentation lab. Once Tom gets the alien to his space craft he thanks Tom. They both get on the UFO and the alien pulls out some weird device and vaporizes Tom. The alien laughs manically and blast his way out of the secret base destroying as much as he can along the way. He then shoots up into space to join the rest of his fleet bringing with him new information on the worlds defenses.
